Dallas is heating up, and so are the fun events located throughout the city. Whether you’re looking to explore the city’s arts and culture, get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine, experience the city’s unique cuisine, or dance away the night, Dallas has something for you this summer. If you live in central Dallas or north toward the luxury apartments like the Heights at Park Lane, there’s a fun event happening near you today.

  1. NorthPark Center Art Tours: June 26th — August 28th

The internationally celebrated art collection at NorthPark Center is once again ready to be discovered for the spring and summer seasons. These complimentary tours are led by the NorthPark’s Arts Coordinator and Manager of Arts Programming and are designed to enhance your art experience with knowledgeable guides and insightful discussion.

  1. Addison After Dark – Luau on the Lawn: July 20th 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.

If you’re looking for a fun, free event this summer, boogie on down to Addison Circle Park for a night of Luau themed fun, food trucks, beverage catering, and more. The night starts with the Bamboo Boat Band and a hula show by the Grace Hula Dance Co. and ends with a high-heat performance from a fire dancer. There are also family-friendly festivities like a limbo and hula contest throughout the night.

  1. Rainbow Vomit: June 7th – September 2nd

Located across from Fair Park in Dallas, Rainbow Vomit provides a unique opportunity for all ages to explore an immersive art exhibit complete with stimulating sounds, stellar lights, and a fun, flight-filled journey. The unique art installation is a combination of over 6000 LEDs, 25 pounds of glitter, 100 pounds of cotton, 5 miles of ribbon, and a secret unicorn!

  1. Kickball Showdown: August 24th, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Are you ready for arts, crafts, bowling, and music? How about festival games, bounce houses, great food, and a kickball tournament? This family-friendly event is entirely free and fun for all ages. An ages 6-12 kickball game will take place at 9:20 a.m., a 13-17 game at 10:00 a.m., and an 18+ game at 10:40 a.m. The event will take place at the Pavilion and Amphitheater at Moore Park.

  1. Bat Out of Hell: June 27th — July 7th, 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

The AT&T Performing Arts Center Winspear Opera House presents Bat Out of Hell, the story of love between a rebellious leader and the daughter of a powerful man in a post-apocalyptic world.
